I'm using Suse Professional 9.3. I'm trying to set up Kpilot. Is there a way I can find out what /dev location of my pilot. I can use usbview but it does not tell me which divice I am connected to. ie: /dev/ttyUSB0 or /dev/usb/ttyUSB0,etc. For example I know my USB printer is attached to /dev/USBlp0. I'm looking for a utility that can help me. Thanks.

Hi netwurk2,

Sorry, no one probably had an answer for your question, or it was missed, I'll bump it up, just in case.

/dev/ttyUSB0 is the one you want.
To check it out, plug in the device, open YAST, enter root password, click on Hardware then click Hardware Information.
As I do not have a Palm Pilot I cannot say where in the tree it will be, When you find it, click on the entry and it will give you the information you require under Device Name.
