I tried rolleyes.gif to install memory from another computer. When I turned on the computer. It started to pip, pip noise. It would not boot up or anything come on the monitor. What can I do to fix the problem? keybrd.gif

Hi Mauricel, welcome to SAF

Not all memory sticks are compatible. Remove the new memory stick,

Some uses DDRxxx (where xxx is bus speed), others are simm 100/133, and so on, and, depending on the motherboard/chipset/bus, they will not be comfortable living together biggrin.gif

Thanks unsure.gif I have removed the memory but it will not boot up. I just hear a ping ping when I turn the computer on HELP sad.gif
