Full Version: No sound in my Linux

I installed Linux last week on a dual boot setup...Everything is working fine ,but i cant get any sound from my Linux....Im running a Suse version of Linux any pointers?

Ok first some questions.

Have you got a mixer that you can open up? check that PCM and Master isn't muted.
What soundcard do you use?
What version of SuSE?

can you run the command lspci in a terminalwindow (like xterm or kterm) and paste the output here and while you are at it run the command lsmod and paste that output here too.

That should give me something to start with.
