ok i can barely see anything right now off of this computer, and here are my current apperence settings

16 colors (wont let me change!!!)

640 by 480 pixels (wont let me change!!!)

if you need any more information, just tell me what you need and how i can get it, and if you know how to solve this problem, just please tell me, because i really need this fixed quick!

Has your computer always behaved like this or did it work once upon a time? Please let me know. Are there any messages when you try to change the settings? If so, please post them. Try writing them down. It's easier than remembering all that especially if you're not used to seeing it.

You must download and install the proper chipset/video/monitor drivers to solve this issue, not the generic ones provided by Windows.

If you do not have all the drivers, you can download them from the net.

ok, thanks... i got it fixed... is what i did, was got a different driver, and tricked my pc into thinking it was the originall one, and it works fine lol
