Now that I am using the XP Operational System, I can't find Scandisk! Where is it?

To check your drive for errors with Windows XP: double-click My Computer. Next, right-click on the disk you want to check and select "Properties" from the options menu. Choose the Tools menu option. There you will find the Error-checking utility. Click the "Check Now" button to begin checking your hard disk for errors.
If you like to use the command prompt, the equivalent command for ScanDisk is "chkdsk".
