I don't see much wrong with that log, although there are some minor items to be fixed. Can you tell us what problems you're experiencing?

Close all open windows and run a HJT scan. Put checks in the boxes next to these lines:

From the two 023s above, it looks like you uninstalled AVG recently. Looks like an incomplete uninstall.

Click on 'Fix checked' and reboot for the changes to take effect.

First let me say Thank you for your help. Ok I did as you asked and they all disappeared except the 023's, both of them are still there. The problems I'm having are a very slow start up, I'm talking almost 10 minutes. Then my explorer freezes up constantly. All the sudden updates is telling me in need to download the activex for updates but it won't give it to me. So if you can figure it out I'd appreciate it. It's either that or throw it out the window. Oh yeah, the funny thing is, my computer at my shop is ill the same exact way.

I think the safest route would be to disable Panda, reinstall AVG, then uninstall AVG from Add/Remove Programs and re-enable Panda. Having two antivirus programs loading/running can be the source of many problems.

Have you cleaned out all your temp and temp internet files folders? Run a Chkdsk and Defrag? How much memory (RAM) is installed?

Are you using IE for the updates? If you use another browser without ActiveX, you won't be able to get updates because only IE and a couple of IE-based browsers that use ActiveX can access updates.

Have you installed the new Windows validation tool that is now required for updates?

Run HijackThis on the other computer and post the log. If the problems are identical, we may be able to spot the cause.
