A quick google search turns up some bad info. No idea about their recruiting or screening process. Who knows who you would be letting into your home?
Post your problem below (add reply and we can help you set up your network - for free.
Include info on:
1. The make and model of your network equipment.
2. The Operating system of each pc on the network.

I am moving the post to the networking forum for the best help.
Do you have internet access on each pc?
If no, ignore the rest for now.
If you do have internet access on both pc's
Did you enable file and print sharing?
Are the XP firewalls enabled?
Do you have any other firewall/security software running?
Have you checked the linksys page?
http://www.linksysfix.com/check/filter/ind...htm?CallerID=SPPost back answers to the above so we know how to proceed.

Ok, but you need to answer questions for us to be able to help you.
First, can you access the internet from both computers?
If yes, the router is working and both machines are getting an ip address from the router.
If you do have internet, did you actually install the Microsoft Network?
-EDIT-
Did you read the link I posted above? It does have very good instructions that might help. No matter though, just please answer the above questions. It is pretty easy to set up a wireless network with XP, so dont worry about being new to networking.
