i hope this is the right place to ask this. This morning I opened my email account using outlook express, then when I try to open it now... it won't connect. It just says "connecting...." on the bottom bar and stays that way until I close it out.
When I close it out, I get the non-responsive program error box... then when I close that box out I get the pop up box that says "Do you want to send the error message to Microsoft"
When I click on the link that shows the technical error... a grey box pops up and shows the following error codes:
C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER02f2.dir00\msimn.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER02f2.dir00\appcompat.txt
Can anybody help me fix this problem so I can get my email messages?
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry, welcome to SAF
If your system is still accessing the net, your Outlook Express may be corrupted. Don't know what operating system you are using, but you may try a system restore.

I am using Windows XP. I tried to do system restore, restoring it to about 4 days ago and it did not fix the problem.
Any other suggestions?

is your system still able to connect ?
If yes, you may take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378/en-us
