I have the most Pain in the A** ever ... i get extremely bad interfearence thru the headfone / speaker output socket ... now i have tried different mixers to see if it was mabey my newmark mixer that was causing the problem... the sound is like ...constant hard drive reading noise (*or the noise u hear from ur cd rom if u have it set to a high volume on ur pc*) and to be honest is a pain when ur djing and all u can hear is the sound of like a fax machine in the background ov the music ....anyone with any ideas id be EXTREMELY Greatfull

Hi Chrisseh, welcome to SAF

RF interferences are probably being generated by your laptop and not correctly filtered. There are many cheap filters on the market that you can try.

Cabling and connections may also be carefully checked.

Numark Mixer may not be the cause, because it's a well known good mixer.

There are also some specialized forums about this on the net, that may be more helpful than ours, as I think it's not a computer related problem, but a filtering one.

You can take a look at http://www.djforums.com/ and at http://www.djchat.com/boards/index.php

Hope it will help

No, for sure rolleyes.gif

I said it's a filter behavior because I know that many DJs are using this mixer on stand alone computers without having any problems...

You can also try it on another brand of Laptop... if it works, problem solved smile.gif
