hi, I have a problem with my video playback.

windows media player 10 works fine, but divx and powerdvd display odd colours, they run fine, but it looks like the colours are inverted. the same goes for ingame videos. what could be the problem. ive tried new drivers, directx and codecs, but to no avail. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

im using powerdvd 6 and divx 6

please help.

thanks wacko.gif

Hi wade, welcome to SAF

This issue is mostly related to your hardware acceleration. Try using less or no acceleration.

Hope it will help,

Chris

It's certainly due to changes made to the hardware acceleration lol.gif

You may search for an intermediate acceleration setting that fits both.

I am not sure, but I think it may be possible to create two different user's profiles, one for gaming and the other for watching videos... rolleyes.gif

Maybe some other member can help on this ?
