Hi everybody,
I have a Gmail account. Last month, I formatted my drive. Before I did this, however, I backed up all my data. However, I couldn't quite get the hang of extracting the files of OE and then putting them back as somebody suggested I do, so before I lost the e mail I decided to resort to my tried and true (and long) method of saving e mail. I forwarded it over to my Yahoo account. I had so much of it that I decided to forward some of it to my Gmail account. This week, I went to the Gmail account to forward the e mail over to the POP accout and I was surprised to find out the the images in the e mails were not there. Some of the images show up as attachments, however. I forwarded some of those, but not even the attachments come through to OE. tread.gif I have been corresponding via e mail with Gmail support and they have been working with me. However, I have asked them if this happens with mail that is sent to a Gmail account and they have avoided answering that question. So my question has two parts: does Gmail convery HTML images to plain text and is there a way for me to convert the plain text messages back to HTML so the images will be restored? thair.gif

Any help will be appreciated.
