Asus P2B-VE mobo in HP Pavilion 8495
This was one of those "inbetween" boards they made for HP systems. Even Asus doesn't list it and I can't find the any drivers (video, audio) for it. If anyone can locate these I'd be appreciative.

Still can't find 'em.
I've looked everywhere. She's going to have to buy a little video and sound card.

Don't know if you have tried this...
There are some few drivers and utilities for Pavilion 8495 at
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...n&lang=en&cc=us
You'll need to select the OS and see... (many are for Win 95 and 98)
I suppose that you had also tried to load drivers for the chipset... now, I wil take a look around on french sites and forums.

Yes IB...I've been there. C'mon man....I'm not a n00b, of course I've been there.
And I don't go to foreign sites because I can't understand 'em.

Well, thanx for trying. Looks like we're going to have to go for the cards after all.
