On a Local Computer
If the user is on a stand-alone Windows XP-based computer, follow these steps:
1. Log on to the computer as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
2. Start the Local Computer Policy snap-in.
3. Expand Local Computer Policy, expand Computer Configuration, expand Windows Settings, and then expand Security Settings.
4. Expand Local Policies, and then click User Rights Assignment.
5. In the right pane, right-click Log on as a service, and then click Properties.
6. Click Add User or Group, add the user that you want to the policy, and then click OK twice.
7. Close the Local Computer Policy snap-in.

Hi zenith:
You can look at a service module and/or a driver at times and create a error event action in it's log........mine has many but no problems!!

What error's issues do you have..?
Zenith
Well I was wondering if those 2 errors could lead to system instability or any other problem and if they could be fixed.
moon
even heavy weight programmers like "James Gosling of Java" does alot of - if it isn't broke, don't fix it.. biggrin.gif well, he use to !!

Example (as I looked at my event log since last boot):

A old DLL trying to load from an old video card caused 3 errors, am I going to find them and remove them.........Nope!!! smile.gif

B - line, nothing to worry about unless it's causing errors....
Zenith
ok won't worry about them then smile.gif thought I better check though as I did have 1 error causeing problems and I fixed that one then I saw those 2 and wasn't sure about them.

Hi again Zenith;
Don't get me wrong, the event log is great for issues that have to be addressed, it's just that it's ultra-sensitive :-)

For instance, one of your SC manager error's (that you had listed) would require full privilege auditing and would require a reggie binary data type to be added to even start in debugging the thing.

see what I mean??

Anyway, i think it's good that you know about the event log and are concerned as to it's contents......... great stuff and continue!!

Regards
