My other PC has a problem, after i press the power button to turn it on, a black screem comes up and say: DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
Any ideas?

Make sure there's no floppy in the floppy drive. If not, then there's a good chance the hard drive has failed or been corrupted by a virus or other causes. See if you can get into the BIOS to see if the hard drive is being recognized. If it isn't listed, then it's most likely dead. Let us know what you find and we'll go from there.

Hi Tassadarmaster

It also looks like you're having trouble uploading your 'Signature' it's taking a while for your post to complete, then there is only a box with a redX

When I check out your Sig, there isn't one there, or is it a Picture you're trying to upload?

i cant get to the bios.

How are you trying to get into the BIOS Setup Utility?
What is the make & model of your computer?

You shouldn't need to enter the BIOS utility to see if the hard drive is recognized - you should be able to see this type of information on one of the first couple of startup pages (assuming this data isn't masked out by manufacturer's splash screen).

Many computers are set to use the DEL key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility, but some computers use F1 or F10 to get there. You need to press this key BEFORE the BIOS starts looking for bootable media.

Post your results.

do you think my pc got a virus or something?

I'd suspect that most of your questions could be answered by data available from the HP Support Site, for example, HERE's where you can get a copy of a users manual for your computer (called a quick start guide).

If you can't find specific answers on how to get into the Setup Utility that HP employs on their computers from the Users Manual, then Email them some questions - they normally answer.

Do i need to get another hard drive disk or another mother board or both?

Hello Tassadarmaster...

The key here is that you cannot access your BIOS. That means that the system isn't even getting to your harddrive, so there is no way of knowing if the harddrive failed or not. IF you could access the BIOS okay but you get this message, I would suspect your operating system/boot initiation file is corrupted or possibly the harddrive itself failed.

Power down. UNplug and REplug the power cable and the data (IDE) cable plugging into the harddrive, and running back into the mainboard, just to make sure that there are no loose connections. If there is a jumper on your mainboard that will reset the BIOS back to default, use that; if not, pull the little silver battery out, let the unit sit for 1/2 hour and snap it back in. Try to boot. If you still get that same message, and you still cannot access your BIOS, it sounds like your mainboard has gone south. It may be possible that only the BIOS chip itself went bad, but without actually replacing it nobody can say for sure. I suggest contacting HP tech, and find out what a new board will cost. It probably will be cheaper than buying a new computer.

I gave you the reference to the manual and the suggestion of contacting HP to find out specifically how to enter the Setup Utility.

As to your question of Motherboard or Hard Drive - there isn't enough information posted to answer specifically but you can check this out for yourself - remove the hard drive and attach it to another computer to see if it can be read. If it can, then the drive is probably OK physically and you'd need to check it's configuration data to see if any of that's corrupt. To do this sort of testing, you'll need to figure out how to get into the BIOS Setup to at least change the boot sequence so that you can run from a boot floppy with various things like HD diagnostics, partition manager, etc.
