when i open a window withing a window the second widnow comes out small. what is wrong with my setttings?

Are talking about IE ? Nothing abnormal, just drag it to another size and close IE. Next time it will open with the new size.

Yes, it has to be a "resize." Hitting the "maximize" button will not do anything for the next window.

thank you - but i am in sbc-yahoo and when i drag the corners nothing happenes.it seems like i get the small window when i click on a address that is within another window.

assuming your clean of nasties;
what happens after your re-sizing a window by grabbing the right-lower corner and THEN going to "file -- left upper" and select close....???
