Hi,

I am having trouble when I shrink a web page down to my taskbar and open another web page, the page on the taskbar disapears. The taskbar is only holding one page. I am running XP Home.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Are you using IE? Which version? ANy security software running?

How are you "open(ing) another webpage"?

Might be a silly question, but are you sure it's not grouping them? XP groups like things (like multiple IE windows) together so you don't get a huge taskbar.

Dashwood 95, I am using Ver. 6 MS Internet Explorer. Efabes, no they are not stacking on the taskbar, they just disapear.

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and take a look at line 240.

Hope this vbs script will fix your problem.

Thanks Chris, but Norton won't let me download the taskbar fix. I am thinking that Stopzilla might have something to do with my taskbar problem.

That would qualify as security software. Disable Stopzilla and try to open another window. If it works, check the settings. There should be a key you can hit to disable the popup blocker for a second while you open something. Popup stopper uses "Control."
