Hi,

i have a problem with a new pc. sometimes, certain software does not start (eg. adaware,... - although the process stays in task manager) while other freezes (outlook, photoshop, spybot, messenger with webcam...), although they do not freeze the machine.

have to crt-alt-del and kill the process manually to solve it.

What process is it?

Once in awhile try to do a disk clean-up and defrag. It usually helps me.
