Yesterday I was surfing around on EBay abd noticed all of a sudden my Internet Explorer back button was gone. Of course the forward button is missing too and whatever else was across that bar. Today I downloaded IE 6.0 thinking that wouls solve my problem but no such luck. What else can I try.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are two solutions:

1 - If you right click your taskbar, you might able/disable some stuff...
2 - If you were contamined by some malware, you must post a HijackThis log here, and wait for more advices.
