I swept up a few bits of adware, and I would like an expert to take a look and make sure I did the job completely.

Your log looks clean, except I have no idea what this is:
D:\WINDOWS\system32\l2cdrg0k.exe

Do you know what this executable is for? Anyone? I tried a variety of sources and did not find anything.
bahamut0013
not a clue.

Thanks for taking a look!

Hi bahamut0013...I don't like the look of that file. If you don't know what it is, and there are no details on its Properties sheet, it's likely a bad guy. End process on it in Task Manager, fix the startup in HijackThis, then boot to safe mode and delete or rename it.

Whatever it was, it's gone now, and hasn't seemed to hurt anything. Thanks for the tip! smiley- thumb up.gif
