I have two files with a MET extension. I do not know what they are, but they are located in one of my important data folders. How do I go about opening these?

Thanks,

jandruz

HERE's one explanation if you have any of the referenced programs installed.

HERE's another location to get answers to file extension questions.

Using your favorite search engine will give you the above links and many others.

Thanks Alfons and jimholly.

I looked at the links--had already found one of them. Are these files of any value. I do not have edonkey or OmniPage. I may have had OmniPage installed a one time, but I can't remember for certain. I do have WordPerfect 8 on my system, but have only used it a bit since I installed it.

Are these files of any value, or can I safely delete them? I still am wondering what the data is. Is there any way to read the files--there are only two? All I get is a lot of boxes or wild characters, no matter what I use to open them.

Thanks,

jandruz
