Hi Arthur and welcome to Suggestafix
First off I'm taking the liberty to move this to the "Office and Applications" section of the forum where it will receive greater exposure to knowledgeable folk: the members Lounge is a generally relaxing area where we talk about non-computer related things and engage in some good old-fashioned fun

please do check it out
To help with this, can you provide a bit more information please:
- Which Windows OS are you using?
- What make and model is your printer?
- When you say that you are uninstalling the drivers in Add/Remove Programs but it "doesn't work", is it the uninstall that doesn't work or the printer?
After uninstalling the printer drivers, it might be worth rebooting before reinstalling them. Not always necessary, but it would clear memory of any remaining inconsistencies.
The Registry doesn't contain files; it contains "hives" each of which is a tree-like structure that
look like folders as presented by Explorer, but they are
not the same thing. At the end of each Registry key are values which are just strings, numbers, or binary patterns.
Generally, you shouldn't go deleting Registry keys without a very good reason for doing so, or you may end up with an unusable system. What are you trying to remove from the Registry exactly?
Sorry - I know this is a lot of questions but sometimes this is necessary in order to help us help you!
