I am interested in developing my knowledge of, and skills in using, MS Word ('97 or 2000 versions).

In particular, mail-merging, charts and graphs, the use of "styles", plus other advanced features, of which I may not yet be aware.

Can anyone suggest any training or reference materials, on-line or in print?

Thanks,
Steve R Jones

Check THIS. It is an Amazon search result.

It is for MS word 2003. It is over 1100 pages. Each MS application has so many features, you will not find any training that covers it all. Even if you took a basic, intermediate and advanced course, many topics would be left uncovered. An indexed book could be the best option. You might want to check a local library to see if it works for you before spending any money.

If you have specific questions about how to do a particular thing, like mail merge for example, post here!! Give specific details of what you are trying to do. We can help you.

I have not seen a good free online training. For the money charged by the ones I have looked at, (and what little each course covers) I would prefer the book.

Also, HERE is a site with some links you can check out.
