I've recently done a complete reinstall of WindowsXP Professional SP2 and I know seem to run into some burning problems with my new Pioneer 109. Seems with which ever burning software I use(DVD Decrpyter, Nero, Magic ISO, Alcohol 120%) I seem to be getting the same error:
Failed to Write Sectors 43456 - 43487 - Invalid Address For Write

Stuff I've tried:
Updated Firmware
Different Media
Different Burning software
Swapped drive to another pc so far two image burns have been successful, which leads me to believe its not the burner itself

Any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Hey

I'm no expert on this, but just done a quick bit of research on it.

1) Does a Simulation write work on the PC in question?

2) Is DMA enabled? Click Here for DMA

I'm not sure if these are the causes of your problem, but it will do no harm to rule them out.

It appears that the error "Invalid Address For Write" is almost a generic error drives throw out whenever there is a whoppsie

Thanks for the suggestion yes DMA has been enabled and seems to be detecting in the bios. I'm gonna try switching ide cable see if that makes any difference
