I am hoping someone may be able to help me with this.
I am IT manager at a small firm - we operate a little network using XP.
While I was on holiday, the partners hired a new firm of accountants who came in and, having been logged in by my manager using my log in (I have administrator rights), installed Sage accounts on one of the office machines.
I have the ability to log into many machines at once, and this immediately meant I encountered problems whenever I tried to log in and use excel on a different machine - I got error messages stating that "sageintegratedreportinglinkage.xla" and "sdladdin.dll" could not be found on start up, which generated an "auto exec error: distmon".
I figured that uninstalling Sage under my log in and reinstalling it under the administrator log in which should have been used would fix this problem. However, I have uninstalled Sage completely and am still getting this error when I try and log in to any machine apart from the one on which Sage was installed - this works fine.
Obviously somewhere in my login is a command telling excel to go looking for Sage on start up and obviously it is still not there, but how can I find it and get rid of it?!
Please help!
