I don't know about you but I hate it when a program installs then puts shortcut icons all over the place.

I recently upgraded my graphics driver ATI Radeon Catalyst and it added a control panel button evertime I right click on an empty area of screen

How do I remove this and is there any way of locking my desktop and taskbar from having new shortcuts added to them??

I know some programs give you options but alot don't!

It gives some good info about how to remove them from within the programs that added them. It also gives the locations to delete them in the registry.
