Hi Nowires, welcome to SAF!

A little background information: who manufactures the w/less NIC? Or was that the manufacturer that you bought it from?
Is there a w/less router that you are are trying to connect to? Is it the same manufacture as the NIC?

What does the documentation that came with the card tell you to do?

If you followed instructions exactly, you still get the same failure message, and the card will not recognize the w/less router or hub you are using, I suggest returning the card and purchase a more well-known brand such as D-Link or Linksys. IF they offer a toll-free help number to call (as does D-Link) you might use that also.
