My Shared Documents folder always defaults to Read Only. When I uncheck the Read Only box in Properties and click Apply, everything seems to proceed fine. But when I return to Properties, Read Only is enabled again! Same goes for certain folders contained within Shared Docs.
The reason I'm trying to disable Read Only is to troubleshoot a problem with Sonic PrimeTime, which will no longer let me burn to DVD shows recorded in the Recorded TV folder (which is stored in Shared Docs).
Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?
