Within the last 3 days I have seen my browser(Firefox 1.0.1) slow down when accessing the internet. Last night I couldn't get on at all(at work now, but can access email remotely). Running XP Home SP2 with Linksys router and cable modem. I have Spybot, Spyware Blaster, Spyware Guard, Norton AV, MS Antispyware beta, Counterspy, Adaware, CW Shredder. All are up to date as of 2 days ago. I will run Hijackthis tonite as I had to come to work to dl the latest ver.

Do you think I am paranoid or is this a virus, trojan etc?

Rebooting all the hardware does not restore access. Systray icon shows I'm connected but no packet traffic. I can post HJ log that I did using ver 1.97.5 but wasn't sure it would be helpful.

I have noticed a slowdown over the last couple of days as well. Both at home (cable) and at work (dsl).

Firefox has come out with a newer version it's 1.0.3 you might try upgrading as the new version has fixes for different problems.
