i want to reinstall my OS.currently i am running winME.i have two partitions c and d.i want to formatt my system and reinstall the OS ie.WinME.....actually i want to take the backup of some douments,files and some mp3s....initially i am having single harddisc with 15gb capacity.....i am planning to get another hard disc with 40GB capacity.....and i am planning to run win2000 in second hard disc.....kindly suggest a fix...like how to take backups..how to reinstall my os ...how to do the formatting..etc...

To answer some of your questions, I'd like some more information:

1. Are you planning on making this a dual-boot machine or are single boot with removable drives?

2. Do you have a burner (internal or external)?

3. Do you have a working knowledge of Windows Explorer?

4. What is the make & model for each drive?

5. Also, an overview of the computer itself may be helpful.
