I switched from WOW! to Roadrunner last Saturday and my LAN, which has 3 computers on it, lost its functionality. If I reboot the computer and modem in that order then the rebooted computer will attach to the internet but the others will not. I have call Roadrunner 3 times and they say that it is the routers. They are supposed to be plug and play and they worked until the switch. I say it is their modem. Any else have this problem or better yet a solution? I'm going to switch back if it doesn't start working.

Is the router getting the internet from your PC or directly from the modem?

Take the network apart and start again - remove the protocols, unplug everything. Then...

Hook up your modem to the router and add one pc at a time (plug in the network cable and add the network protocol).

I moved my wireless router, Belkin, to a direct hookup to the cable modem and reinstalled. I now have two computers working, one both wired and wireless but I have a 3rd old Compaq 5301 with ME as the OS and it still will not load the web. I put everything I could back to default but it comes up with no web page on all 4 browsers. LAN set on browsers to attach automatically. I am stumped.
