I've spent days looking thru a variety of sites that list tech support sites, and one thing I am seeing on a consistent basis-SuggestAFix is widely rated as one of three top all-in-one free tech support sites on the Internet. I don't care if it's true and accurate or not. It shows 5 years of hard work and dedication is being realized and recognized by a large number of Internet users. Good job and keep up the good work!

1. ExpertsExchange
2. SuggestAFix
3. TechSupportGuy

One more thing. People weren't familiar with my antivirus tests before. Not the case with Antivirus test 2004! It's all over the Internet! eeeeek.gif What am I going to do about Antivirus test 2005?? blink.gif unsure.gif scared[1].gif

WoHoo!!! Way to go!!

It's encouraging to read things such as the following:

The forums are not the busiest we've seen but almost all questions attract good quality answers. Our 3 test questions were answered very promptly indeed the solutions provided and were of high quality.

It's quality that counts!

I downloaded a C compiler a few months ago, but have only recently got into using it in anger. I had a windows API question, so I asked at a C programmers forum, and all I got in response was flames and stupidity. I also attempted to answer someone else's question, and twice got flamed for it. This seems to be some kind of newbie's "initiation ceremony". Very silly and unnecessary IMHO.

I wonder what those three "test questions" were?

Yea I would like to know the three test questions myself lol.gif

Ed, I spoke to Gizmo at TechSupportAlert about SAF a while ago. We were introduced into his list just prior to my post. That list has been changed. I think ExpertsExchange was on there as no.1 to begin with, but now they're a pay site.

Interceptor, I have referred to those test on different sites and posted the link to them. You do good work! Keep it up..........

I followed Ed's link and read the review for SAF. I could not agree more except for:

Like many other forums, a few dedicated individuals seem to provide the bulk of the answers so you might find the quality of the answers varying day to day according to who's available. This reservation notwithstanding, we couldn't fault the service we received.

What day did they visit? blink.gif My answers come from various moderators and (just as important) members. The reason this site is the best is it allows the members to share and moderators to also gain from the members.

Trust me, I am your Northeast Florida Market Representative (Salary could use a push) and always recommend a visit to those struggling with problems. Plus I always suggest they print the "pinned" articles for reference

Keep it up cheers.gif

In March of '03 Gizmo also wrote in the TSA newsletter:

"I've mentioned this great site before but after using their
services last week, I was again impressed with the service.
They quickly solved an annoying problem that had been bugging me
for weeks."

So, he does come here now and again to ask questions. It's always going to be an ongoing trial.
