I just noted that I have been a member 1 year today. So I will take this moment to thank all of you for the help given. I know a lot more now than I did 06/28/03.

Even though Interceptor referred to me as the first SAF Groupie because I printed all the articles and logged them in a notebook (yes, I am that anal), ythis is a truly enjoyable place. No problem here being a SAF groupie.

Nothing wrong with being an SAF groupie!

Good God Chris......printing out information and keeping it for easy access when you need it is anything but "anal". I have a folder with so many text files that I could author a good sized book if I printed them out! There is so much information out there that it's entirely impossible to remember it all or keep it all bookmarked (which don't last forever, anyway). I wish more people would do what you do.

You have the "dubious" honor *chuckle * of being the first recognized "groupie". I only hope others follow your example. In fact, I think it would be kind of fun to have a "SAF Groupie of the Month" (kind of like employee of the month ) and a little write up on that person.

Member "chrisjea" is celebrating his first anniversary at SAF. Chris enjoys learning about computers, gardening and cooking. He is especially fond of the endorphin rush he gets from running, eating hot peppers and consuming large quantities of fine wine......while he's running, gardening, cooking and working on his computer (which explains the typos ).

Chris is a constant visitor in the Members' Lounge. Known as a good hearted social butterfly , Chris enjoys bantering with other members. He is also interested in media entertainment-enjoying books, movies and taking pictures with digital cameras (much to his neighbor's embarrassment ).

Chris has earned the rather dubious honor of being SAF's first official "groupie" and is now a permanent fixture on this site. We would all miss him terribly should he jog off a cliff while blitzed on wine, so please be careful Chris!

I cannot wait to get home and show my wife the "social butterfly" part. (If I ever get my computer at home running, still will not boot . But that is another forum) I am about as introverted as they come. She drags me kicking and screaming to social occaisions

As far as wine consumption, studies have shown it reduces the risk of health problems. As of right now, I am good until age 108 .
