Hey guys:
Is there a command i can use to find out what someone's IP is say for instance i have someone on ICQ and i want to find their IP how wouldi do it?
See i have this game server (unreal) running and i want to be able to find out who is connecting to it by looking at their IP so i can restrict access to some users.
I have tried using netstat -n but for some reason it wont show any IPs, is there another way to do this?
Thanx!

netstat -a does show IP's but only the ICQ server. i suspect icq goes thru a proxy.

Not being familiar with a game server, I have no idea if netstat doesn't show it. I guess it's not like an FTP server which shows the IP of all those connected.

This probably wont be what your looking for but I stumbled upon something kind of interesting and useful (at least to me). If you go to
http://www.whatismyip.com it shows your IP.

would you not find your IP in DOS by typing ipconfig??

not necessarily, if you are inside a LAN behind a router using NAT then your external (internet IP) wont really be shown by using ipconfig, you will only see the IP the router has assigned to you.

If my understanding is correct, he wants to see the IP's of users connected to his game server. What kind of game server is it? I'm familiar with setting up bf1942, counterstrike, and the like.. Perhaps I can give you a hand...
