You need to do everything that has to do with securing youre system now. Spyware, viruses and hackers aren't waiting....why should you?

Okay, Thank you John

I was wondering if what I listed is enough. I am going by two years of your reviews, PCillian.
Firewall suggestions?

Chris...if you want to buy, I'm very impressed with the PC-cillin 2002 AV/Firewall combo that came with my motherboard CD (free on this Asus mobo driver CD. Didn't even know it was there until I did a format after buying this system rolleyes.gif )

Otherwise, the free AntiVir and Sygate Personal Firewall work very well on XP. Easily found on the net.

This is what I'm using as part of my security suite on each system. There other programs and procedures in place as well:

Station 1: PCC, ZoneAlarm
Station 2: AntiVir, Outpost
Station 3: Avast, ZoneAlarm
