exclamations on Direct Parallel WAN Miniport (IP) WAN Miniport (IP)-Packet Scheduler Miniport WAN Miniport (L2TP) WAN Miniport (PPPOE) WAN Miniport (PPTP) All listed under NETWORK ADAPTERS It seems I cannot get no access to the internet without these drivers. I am running an EMachines W3644. Windows XP Home & Proff. Where do i go to download the correct drivers? |

A good starting place would be HERE.

Hi Bonestabber and welcome to SAF. The drivers that you need will be on the CDs that came with the computer; possibly on a restore CD. The problem is that using the restore CD will also nuke all your data and programs.

Thank you RanchHand. I do not mind losing data and programs and I do have that CD you speak of,however,I am not sure how exactly to pull what I need off of there.

Easy. Your manual that came with the computer will give you the details, but basically you insert the CD in the DVD drive and reboot. The reimaging should start automatically. It may take a fairly long time. BTW, I am assuming that you did not add a network card or component after purchasing, this is all the original stuff that came with the unit. Then the restore CD will restore the drivers and all - should return it to the day you brought it home.
Another thing you can try is a system restore to a time before this happened. That may or may not work. As long as you are wiping the disk anyway, its worth a shot. -------------------- AMD Quad 3.0/Oclocked to 3.6
