Hi All,

I am wondering if somebody can point me in the right direction here, I have an email server and want to set up a way for people to access email at home using a web page or web interface for the to log in and get their emails in a way similar to your web mail that you can access from your ISP when you are not home to get your email in outlook 2003.

Ok, a little more info would be nice confused.gif

Please be specific in your answers:
  1. What kind of OS is it?
  2. What kind of E-mail software are you already running?
  3. Are you the admin/one making changes?
  4. Do you have a web-server installed such as Apache or IIS?

if this sever isn't in a co-location with an isp then a static ip address is essential.
check with isp to see if html and email servers are allowed.

you need a static ip from the isp side.

after that configure the server and give the ip to the site so that every one can use.

contact the internet service provider.

Hey Defined, sorry for such a long delay,

Which version of Marshal do you have? Marshal SMTP?

I guess i should have also asked about the physical server's location - is it in a datacenter? Office? home? Does it have an externally facing IP?

Typically with the email servers, you just set it up as a service, or some you can setup via IIS.

Also, where are you getting stuck at? maybe if you describe your problem with detail i can help you from there.
