Ok, we have two Linksys routers in our house.

Router 1 : is a router/modem combo thats also wireless
Router 2: simple 8 port/wireless router

Right now Router 2 is set up with an Ethernet cable from its WAN port going to one of the 8 ports on Router 1. So its basically using Router 1 as its WAN gateway to the internet.

I try to avoid using wireless whenever possible. So I wanted to move Router 2 near my PC which is on a different floor than Router 1. I wanted to know if it was possible to have Router 2 sort of have its WAN gateway set up wirelessly to Router 1. Can this be done?

stock linksys routers don't have the capability to connect wirelessly. they only accept clients. you'd need third party firmware.
