Hello,
This is my first SAF posting and I'm hoping somebody will help me. I have a Laptop running XP, which I used to connect to my PC (which used to also run XP) via a cable. The former used to be able to connect to the Internet via the PC Broadband connection. Perfect! However...... I upgraded my PC which now runs Vita (Arghhhhhh) and I don't know how to reproduce the same connection ie: access the Internet using my laptop, connected to my PC via a LAN cable. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Microsoft has some good tutorials on it http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/e...99265e1033.mspx Windows Help and How-to: Setting up a home network The following page has a quite good treatment of File and Printer Sharing in Vista, complete with screenshots: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/network/e...e/vista_fp.mspx File and Printer Sharing in Windows Vista Another good article: http://www.howtonetworking.com/vista/sharingfolders.htm -------------------- I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. Groucho Marx |
