HI
I have done a fresh install with xp home. There is absolutely nothing else on the pc. When i try to connect i get "failed to query tcp/ip settings for the connection. I know i have a connection to the internet as it works on another pc so it is not my router, modem etc. What do I do? Thanks This post has been edited by gumpworsely: Jul 10 2008, 08:47 PM |

First look in device manager and see if your network adapter is installed.

then uninstall the adapter from device manager, reboot and go through the hardware detection/driver install process.
