You're probably wondering why the main administrator and owner of SuggestAFix (CompGuy Pete IPB Image) has been rather scarce for a while. Well, at first it was because Pete has been busy trying to make a living and the board has been fairly self-sufficient. Now it's due to an entirely different set of circumstances.

Pete and I are in regular contact with each other and I am greatly saddened by the news I am presenting you with. Recently he informed me that his twelve year old daughter and sparkle of his eye has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. It is unknown at this time whether the tumor is benign or malignant, and it's difficult to take a biopsy due to the mid-brain placement of the tumor. However, the tumor is growing and it's causing some issues for Ana, which, God forbid it from happening, could be life-threatening. To try and get the tumor under control the current treatment is chemotherapy. At this time, this regimen of treatment will continue for a year.

IPB Image

Aside from the bills from all the other initial diagnoses of her condition, the real bills from her current treatment, which have just begun, have just arrived to the tune of $26,000.00+. I am estimating total amounts in the hundreds of thousands of dollars having been through this with a member of my own family. This doesn't include travel, lodging and other immediate expenses they will have to bear. Pete is self-employed. As most of us are painfully aware of, health insurance for a family is exceptionally expensive, so Pete has no insurance available. While he has applied for a variety of financial assistance, it is by no means guaranteed he will receive them, or receive them in a timely manner. You can read the steps he has taken so far on the website.

You can read more about the family's present situation at:
http://www.oneana.com

Donations to help alleviate the staggering cost to treat and cure Pete's little girl, and the growing financial burden the family will bear during this difficult time would be of great benefit and enormously appreciated. A PayPal account has been sent up on the website. Money orders may be sent to:

Ana Senarighi
4750 Berkeley Road
Hermantown, MN 55811

Please, don't send cash or personal checks. Transfers via PayPal and Postal Money Orders would be the best and most secure methods.

Pete is my friend and I am after him to call me constantly with updates in addition to giving him another shoulder to help bear the incredible weight he and his family are feeling. I will do whatever necessary to help and hope some of you will feel the same way. No child should have to endure something like this. Please say a little prayer for Ana's safe and speedy recovery.....and send a few dollars if you can. It doesn't have to be much and nobody expects anyone to cause material injury to themselves by donating. If you can't afford to help financially, a prayer and a supportive thought will do nicely. I know, I know...we've heard and seen this plea for help countless times before. However, this hits too close to home. Many of you are very familiar with Pete and his history with many web sites over the years (i.e., webedeveloper.com or virtualdr.com) and you know him to be a generous, kind and exceptionally amiable person.

Since Pete is so well known on the Internet, please spread this thread to other websites. The more people know and render assistance, the better it will be for Ana.

Thanks to all,
Interceptor.

John, Pete,

I'm very sad to know that. All my prayers to Ana, hoping she will recover soon. I'm sure our members and friends will help on this difficult moment.

It's very disturbing to hear of any child going through something like this, but it's especially disheartening when it's someone we know. My best to Ana, Pete, and the rest of the family during these difficult times. "God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform." Let's pray that God will perform a miracle for this sweet little gal and her family.

Thank you very much everyone... I tell ya the donations, prayers and spreading of the word help.

We had a doctors appointment today and were looking good for doing chemo again next week. I'll post more about this all on the Oneana.com site in the morning. I'm currently looking at some paperwork on our current months finances for the County Medical program. To see if we can get some help there... I don't think the person who made up these forms ever had to fill one out. If they did they would make a ton more sense.

thair.gif

Thanks again everyone.

Remember, I'm taking requests for stuff you'd like listed on the site. Also I'd also like to know the interest people have in my setting up other payment options than PayPal. If I should look into that google payment system or what. I'd like to keep it simple and yet give people options. Also once I get done with my ad run for the month I'll put together some banners for people to use on there sites/myspace pages.

Hey Pete, thanks to the team spreading the word I found out about this today while at work, not much work was done from then on.

Feel for you buddy. Be strong.

Donation done tonight. keybrd.gif
Every little bit helps.

I know some folks have some concern over PayPal but don't stress out about offering evey method under the sun if it's costing you time with your family.
That was actually the first time I've ever used my PP account.

I'm also spreading the word via an addition to my signature linking to the OneAna site.

Pete
Thanks for starting this site, my contribution is on the way, via snail mail.
May God give Ana, you and the rest of your family the strength to deal with this.
I shall send out a prayer alert to my family.
